About Torrey Trimble

Torrey Trimble is a rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, record executive, actor, artist and martial artist.  As a child he was part of the gifted program, which promoted education to individuals with higher IQs and cognitive ability. This experience fostered a student mentality which he keeps until this day. 

Torrey Trimble is a talented graphic designer and sketch artist who has had success with painting murals and graffiti in various locations. His work has been featured on “Dinner and a Movie’ for “Master Blaster Barbecue” and his artwork is currently on display at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center and Chattanooga African American Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

He is the founder and CEO of 1st Knockout Artist and was previously Vice President of Thik-N-Thin Records from 2000-2005. Torrey has participated in hosting television shows, being an extra in tv and film and independent promotional material for various business entities. Torrey Trimble was also a featured musician in two aspects on Ryan Cameron’s independent film “Jinx’d” in 2000. 

During this same time frame he also worked as an A & R for Next Hit Records based out of Harlem, New York. Torrey began his career as a musician in 1990, but found influence once teaming with the Think Tank/Brainstorm, a group of writers hand picked by Aaliyah Haughton and Static Major, which through conference calls assisted in writing for Aaliyah. Projects he has worked on include “Dr. Dolittle” soundtrack (1998), “Romeo Must Die” soundtrack (2000), and the “Aaliyah” album (2001). Multiple songs that were written by the group are still in regular rotation online and on radio today. 

While enlisted in the Air Force he received multiple medals for his maintenance efforts as an ejection seat mechanic and learned responsibility during his service. He also earned his 1st degree for Tae Kwon Do while in the military.

As a martial artist, Torrey Trimble is a 9th degree black belt in Jeet Kune Do (Paul Olivas), 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do (Terry Hanner/John Smith), 1st degree black belt in Karate (Coach Campbell) and 1st degree black belt in Aikikai Aikido (David Strickland). He is currently studying Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (Adam Gordiner) and has a blue belt. Torrey was trained in wrestling in high school (Ronald Simmons Jr.) and trained to box by Jay Bell “The King of Sting”. He has studied with a variety of different martial arts disciplines and with professional mixed martial artists from Bellator MMA to cultivate his unique style of the arts. 

Torrey is currently releasing music on multiple streaming platforms from the extensive catalog which was mostly created during the time when he collaborated with Aaliyah, Thik-N-Thin and Next Hit Records.

Chatt Towns own Dale Stokes brings unique and intense soulful beats. Producing beats since the age of 10. Music serves as an outlet for expressing his passion and creativity with a style heavily rooted in Rap, R&B, and Soul. He is inspired by artists Zaytoven, Dr. Dre, Timberland and Barry Gordy. Dale currently resides in Johnson City, Tennessee.  He is a Graduate of East Tennessee State University (ETSU) with a Bachelor's in Business and Minor in Mass Communications. Married with two children and a dog, Dale aspires to become a top producer.
